Cleaning Policy:

Please note if the house is not left in a tidy condition and the below tasks are not

carried out your $500 bond will not be refunded after checkout.

No more than 20 people are to be checked into the house per booking. You will be

charged extra per person or be told to vacate the property if there are extras.

Ensure children are not on beds or lounges with colouring pens – you will be

charged for replacement linen if permanent marks will not wash out.

1. Remove Trash and Dispose Properly: Collect all trash and recyclables, and dispose of

at the designated waste dumping point – view map on fridge

2. Check Bathrooms: Wipe down sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs – please be sure to

remove all urine and stains from on and around the toilets.

3. Wash Dishes and Clean Kitchen: Wash, dry, and PUT AWAY all dishes, utensils, and

cookware. Do NOT leave in dishwasher. Wipe down countertops, sinks, and appliances.

4. Clean Surfaces: Wipe down all surfaces, including tables, fridges, freezers,

countertops, bathroom counters, and any other frequently touched areas.

5. Vacuum or Sweep Floors: Vacuum carpets and sweep or vacuum hard floors to

remove dirt and debris.

6. Remove linen from beds: Leave linen in a pile on each bed. Tidy up bedrooms and

common areas. Check drawers and cupboards for rubbish and personal belongings.

7. Do not move furniture: Leave all furniture where you found it. Do not move from

outside to inside or vice versa. All inside chairs are to remain inside. Use camping

chairs for extra seating on verandas.

8. Clean BBQ’s and BBQ areas: Heat and remove any food left on bbq plates. Wipe

down splashbacks and surrounding areas. Please ensure BBQ’s are turned OFF at the

wall after each use to ensure no gas leaks.

9. Report Any Damage: Inform the host or cleaner of any damages or issues noticed

during your stay.

Given the moderately secluded location of Phippsy’s on Fraser it is imperative that every effort is made to fulfill the above tasks to an acceptable standard.

Our cleaners do a wonderful job for us though are very restricted for time in preparation for the following

tenants checking in. If efforts are not made to apply the tasks above, check in times

become later for everybody, bonds will not be refunded and the opportunity for

rebooking will be removed. We don’t expect perfection though do expect tidiness.

The cleaners are there to make it perfect.
